Stressed

I didnt think working off of one income would be this hard. We have a budget, I make his lunch, we barely go out anymore. Where the hell is all of our money? I had a melt down today and I still cant stop crying. I havent been working because no one will hire me with being almost 7 months pregnant. I actually tried, went on several interviews and got nothing. Not even part time! I am starting to freak out because we have a baby due in the next 2 1/2 months and we have nothing in our savings like we had hoped. We dont have our own place right now and doesnt look like we will by the time the baby will arrive!

I was hoping to have some money saved up, and have a place by March or April at the latest but that doesnt look like it is going to happen. I just do not know what to do anymore. I made us a budget, and that seems to not be working. Next step is to be saving all our receipts to see where it all goes. My medical got screwed up so now I have to fix that and now I might not be able to go to my next dr's appointment until it is fixed. Why is everything bad happening for me with it being so close to delivering? I cant handle this stress right now. I am supposed to be starting school but I dont even know if we can afford the books! Ugh I just want to curl up into a ball cry and never stop. But what good is that going to do any?

I really didnt think it would be this hard.

Legally, they can't discriminate based on pregnancy. It falls under sexual discrimination.

If you think you were over/qualified and somewhere didn't hire you, you could always call back and mention that you were following up and you're aware that you're pregnant but they can't use it against you because it's sexual discrimination.

I know it is but they can still make up an excuse not to hire me. Its frustrating and sucks. At least I have more time to focus on my photography and now I actually have booked & paid shoots I am doing. YAY

oh my gosh. my heart aches for you right now!!!! I know that at my community college, there are a few programs made up of alumni that are pretty wealthy. and they help people in your situation!!! If you're needy, and deserving enough, they've been known to just flat out pay for your tuition. (they get to write if off) I would just go and say you're about to pop, need to get to school for you baby, and you can't afford it right now. they should have some type of program to help you.

on the photography side, just hustle that money!!!! <3

Thanks Lindsey for the support! :) My tuition is paid for by financial aide, but I am just nervous to see how much books are going to cost. Probably more then the tuition lol.

I need to look up what kind of things they have with single parents in my situation at my college. I dont even know who to talk to about that.

Do you?
